Affiliate Tracking
To award cashback, we must track when you click an affiliate link and whether a qualifying transaction results. This involves:
- Setting a tracking cookie when you click an offer link
- Passing a unique SubID (format:
yb_{user_id}_{offer_id}_{timestamp}) to the affiliate network - Receiving confirmation from the affiliate network or advertiser via a server-to-server postback
- Logging your IP address, offer ID, and timestamp in our click-tracking database
This data is used solely for cashback attribution and fraud detection. We share only the minimum necessary information with affiliate networks.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in these circumstances:
- Affiliate networks and advertisers: SubID and transaction data required for cashback tracking
- Payment processors: Your payout destination (Venmo/Square handle) to process payouts
- Analytics providers: Aggregated, anonymized usage data with Google Analytics 4
- Email service providers: Your email address for transactional and marketing communications
- Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or government request
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale
Analytics & Advertising
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our website. GA4 collects data including page views, session duration, and traffic sources in aggregated form. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Remarketing Pixels
We may use remarketing pixels from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google to serve targeted advertisements to visitors of YippeeBates on other websites and platforms. These pixels may collect your IP address, browser type, and information about pages you visited.
You may opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool or by adjusting settings within the relevant advertising platform.

Data Security

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
